What People Are Saying
“Lisa is AMAZING! I went for my first session today - didn’t know my body could move like that. AND — feel good! I walked out and said “I feel taller”.
Did some yoga and stretching tonight and have more flexibility in my hamstrings than I can remember.
I’m looking forward to going back soon!”

"I have issues with a stiff neck and after my sessions with Lisa, my mobility is so much greater. Having another person provide this therapy enables a degree of stretching that's just not possible on your own. Also, it feels good, both during and after. Lisa frequently checks in with her client during the session to make sure they are feeling OK and are comfortable, and she provides a beautiful setting for the therapy. Highly recommend."

“My hip joints have so long been a problem, but after my first appointment, my hips and low back just feel calmer. Even walking up stairs afterward felt easier and my body lighter. I highly recommend this for both how limber and relaxed I feel now, and I’m excited to see how this translates into movement during my normal rowing, walking, running and yoga.”

“Two kids and a global pandemic took a toll on my body, but after my first session with Lisa at Twin Cities Fascial Stretch and Wellness, I had improved mobility and comfort in my hips and knees. I have been able to get deeper into some yoga poses I haven’t attempted in years! Here’s to a more active and balanced 2021!”

“My name is Tom and I have been a client at Twin Cities Fascial Stretch and Wellness for about 8 weeks. I am 69 and up until I was 55, I was never in the hospital since birth, never had anything broken and all the parts I was born with were still there. Then my body decided to become structurally unstable and in the next 12 years I had both knees and hips replaced, 6 pretty major back surgeries and one neck surgery. Because of the back surgeries I had a lot of nerve damage. To pin point what nerves were damaged I had an EMG test – think of someone putting metal pines on you skin and then they put an electrical current between the metal pines – if the nerves jump everything is fine but if they don’t then the nerves are dead. Mine are dead from the knees to the ankles on the shins of both legs so I can’t build any muscle in the area. This muscle group is responsible for keeping you stable when standing or walking. I sway backwards and forwards when I stand up right so I need to use a walker all the time. One other outcome is that I have severe neuropathy on both feet – it’s like walking on bubble wrap. I have gone through all the medical professionals and the answer was the same – get used to using a walker because the nerves are dead and the scar tissue in the back will prevent them from growing back.
I decided to see Lisa on the recommendation of a cousin of mine and to be quite honest I didn’t really expect any relief but at this point I am willing to try anything. Lisa was extremely helpful in explaining what the fascia is and if it is tight, it hinders our bodies movement.
The results were pretty dramatic from the start. I moved more freely, felt stronger and my endurance increased – I went from walking 10 to 12 thousand steps per day to 17 to 20 thousand steps per day. After the first few sessions Lisa started to work on the bottoms of my feet with the eraser end of a number two pencil. She pinpointed areas on the bottom of the feet and used a fair amount of pressure in different areas. She has done this for about 5 sessions along with her normal treatments and today, the neuropathy in my feet is almost gone and I am significantly more stable on my feet. And I can finally feel my toes and curl them. This may not seem as a big deal but it is when I haven’t been able to do this for the last 5 years!!
Recently Lisa took some additional training in Dermal Fascial Restoration. The treatment goal is to breakdown the scar tissue has the fascia restored which I hope will help reestablish the Nero pathways. Hopefully this will aid in the repair of the nerves on my shins and I can get rid of my walker.
I can’t recommend Lisa at Twin Cities Facial Stretch and Wellness enough. She is extremely well trained, always keeps me informed on what she was doing and why and even more importantly she makes me part of the therapy by asking me what my goals are and what she thinks will work the best.”

First session with Twin Cities Fascial Stretch + Wellness. Focus was hip and shoulder mobility.
“For reference, no prior workout or stretching was completed. In fact, I was a bit stiff and mildly sore from aerial silks class last night.
Splits are a longtime nemesis of mine. So here is a before and after photo for hip mobility perspective. Also here is a pseudo before and after bridge (wheel pose) for shoulder mobility perspective. The “before” bridge pose was taken during a hike just a couple of days ago with zero warm up (yes, shame on me).
The “after” results are with JUST an intro 60 min treatment session. I’m excited to see the duration of results and how my body feels over the next few days.
Feel free to connect with Lisa, for your own fascial wellness needs.”

Lisa is a warm, welcoming practitioner who will let you know what she’s going to do before she does it, asks all sorts of questions about your health history, along with what you’re comfortable with, and does a fabulous job of stretching and loosening up all the creepy parts!”
